Signal and Noise Honorary Steve Davis Sleeping Bag Drive 2026

By Amy Young

Hey, it’s hard to believe it will ever get cold here, but it’s coming, and that reality hits hard for several people. People can use sleeping bags for warmth in various circumstances. We want to help. If you can’t donate, please share the information if you’d like.

Our dearly departed friend, rocker, writer, and artist Steve Davis let friends help him with his sleeping bag drive, and we sure miss him. In his honor, Tom and I would like to make this an annual event where you grab sleeping bags (a few links below); we’ll come get them and donate them to organizations that offer pickup and delivery options for people who need them.

The month of October will be a great time to grab one, or as many as you want, and we’ll take it from there. Please send new, unused sleeping bags. There's no firm cutoff date yet, but it would be ideal for us to start collecting them in the first and second week of November.

If you get bags, email us at signalnoisephx@gmail.com to arrange pickup.

If you aren’t local and want to ship something to us, email us, and we’ll tell you where to send items.

Thank you!!
